How to stand out!

In a world of technology and busy lifestyles, find a way to stand out.  

You say “Wow!  How do I do that?  As I have heard many times, dress for the job you want!  I think it’s as simple as responding.  Respond?  What are you talking about?  In a world of busy people and less in person communication, respond.  Respond when someone texts you, emails you, or calls for an interview.  Don’t be the person that forgets.  Be the person that everyone wants to hire.  We all have competition.  No matter what you think being organized, polished and responsive is a stand out!  I would even go as far as saying send an email or card thanking people for their time.  Let's bring back respect for one another.  How can we demand it if we don’t give it?  Stand out by communicating and letting people know you care. Be responsible and reliable.  Also if you don’t pick the job offered let them know.  You do that and you most indeed will stand out and get the job you want!
