My Journey

Growing up I had amazing experiences at the dental office so when it came time to choose a career I chose Dental Assisting. My 22 years in dentistry, clinically and administratively, have taught me a lot. I started off by completing Dental Assisting at Guilford Technical Community College in Greensboro, North Carolina. After many years of Dental Assisting my curiosity then took me to the administrative side of dentistry. I became intrigued by the business side of Dentistry and how to make an office flourish and become successful. Through the American Association of Dental Office Management I furthered my career knowledge by completing my Fellowship, Masters and graduated in the first ever Diplomate class of 2021. After completing my education with AADOM I learned that I had a passion for writing. So in doing this website I brought two of my favorite things together-dentistry and writing. My dental journey has brought me an abundance of clinical and administrative knowledge. I enjoy what I do and love to be a part of bringing more smiles to the world. Join me on my journey.
