Dental Product Ordering

Ordering products in a dental office is crucial and important.  Many offices have one ordering specialist who handles the ordering.  First you want to start with a budget, then you need to decide upon a date/day that you will always be ordering on. Next you will focus on quantity of products.  Some people order quarterly, some do every month.  You will have to choose depending on the size of your practice.  The more knowledgeable your sales representative is the better.  At our office we use Patterson. They are a good fit for us with a very knowledgeable sales representative.  If you pay attention to how you grow you can speak to your representative and decide upon the best possible volume for your practice.  Remember you get what you pay for.  Just know that sometimes if you are working on a budget some things could be the house brand which may be more cost effective.
