Sliding Door

Sliding door you say? Yes, the door that opens and closes everyday. That is your office door. That moment when you are in a serious zone and open it comes. Many people may not realize the amazing multitasking human beings that we are. We literally get off the phone with a patient, insurance company, ordering products to… my computer isn’t working and by the way the scanner stopped working and most importantly maybe, something is leaking or something was thrown away. We are like superheroes throwing on a cape to fix any oncoming chaos. We take a left and a right, sometimes a duck is necessary. We run straight into the chaos like a firefighter into danger. Never once thinking "gee can I answer that problem" or "can I fix that?" Oh but we can…we can because we are the last line of defense. Sometimes even smiling while working through a problem in our head, always smiling reassuring everyone that everything is “JUST FINE'“. Panic? I don’t think so! That isn’t in an Office Managers DNA! Troubling shooting is our game, Office Manager is our name. So in case your door kept sliding open today and you felt like you went through a category 5 then you haven’t lived. The best part is when you get to the end of the day and you say “ I did that”. Yes, because in our world staying on your toes and multitasking is what we do best. Let the door opening begin.
